26 January is celebrated as Republic day of India It is the day when Indian governing document used for India after independence . That day is 26th January ,1950.
On this day prime minister hoist the national flag at Red Fort,New Delhi.He gives some innovative speech .After He Salutes Our National flag and the national anthem is sung at that time .After that they give tribute to the leaders of freedom struggle of India.It is the one of the holiday of three national holidays ."Independence Day (15th august) , Gandhi Jayanti(2 October ) , Republic Day(26th January)".
In a Delhi there is the special parade held by Indian army on this day.President Take salute of them.All Three wings of Indian army takes part in the parade.

Flag hoisting programs are also held at state capitals , all government offices, All schools & Colleges and many organizations.there are also cultural programs held at above places.there also organized different competitions and prizes also given to winners.
